Hosted Social Paddle
River Parrett, Langport
Timings
This is a 2-3 hour round trip with stop(s) for refreshments - we will either paddle up or down stream from our launch point close to Langport Town Centre, this is weather dependent. We will be on the water by 10am so please be parked, pumped and dressed ready to go by 9.50am at the latest.
Refreshments
We’ll stop en route a few times to enjoy our surroundings and some light refreshments - some drinks/snacks will be provided e.g. hot water & variety of tea bags, black coffee and biscuits*. Space is limited on the board, for any specific dietary requirements please do bring your own drinks/snacks e.g. milk or equivalent. Please also bring your own reusable cup. We have a leave no trace policy.
We do have the option to stop at a waterside cafe if the group is happy to do so.

About This Trip
This River Parrett social paddle is for those looking to practice paddle boarding skills with a coach on hand to give tips on technique, trip planning and staying safe and it’s also an opportunity to get to know other paddlers in your area in a hosted way that supports deeper connection.
Hosted Group Connection
Rather than leaving the group to get to know each other on their own this experience is about providing a hosted trip where your paddle guide also facilitates the space to ensure that everyone has the chance to engage and fully enjoy their time in nature and with each other. My goal is to help people come away feeling like they’ve had a soul nourishing time out in nature, connecting and making new paddle friends to enjoy future adventures with.
Paddle Experience
Guests must have had at least one beginner lesson and are able to stand, self rescue and knee paddle for extended periods of time (if the wind should suddenly pick up).
Facilities
There are no public toilets or private changing areas by the car park and launch point. There are public toilets in Langport centre which we can make emergency pit stops at after our launch or just before exiting the water. There are toilets at the cafe en route if needed but only if we head north from our launch point and approximately 1-1.5km from our initial launch point.
Parking & Directions
Full location details and parking information will be sent along with your booking confirmation once payment is received. Parking is free but it’s a small car park. If the car park is full there is a back up option in Langport town centre. More info will be provided after booking.
